The production pipeline.

We take a project the whole way — from script to final edit. What follows is a typical animation pipeline; the exact path depends on your project, and we check in with you at every stage.

Rough

Thumbnail sketches for pose, composition, and framing. Cheapest point to change direction.

Line art

Clean linework locked to the approved rough. Anatomy and detail get nailed down here.

Base color

Flat colors and palette, matched to your character's existing colors if there are any.

Rendering

Shading, lighting, and finish — where the piece stops looking like a drawing and starts looking like art.

Delivery

Final files at full resolution, plus any format you need.

FAQ

What's the typical turnaround time?

This largely depends on the complexity and length of the project. Most of our projects are delivered within 1–6 months, and we also offer expedited service if you need a faster turnaround.

How much does an animation project typically cost?

This depends on the length, complexity, and scope of the project — please send us your requirements and we'll get back to you with a quote.

If I don't need certain services, do I still have to pay for them?

Of course not! Our pricing is based on the full production pipeline — so if your project doesn't require music, editing, or even coloring, you won't be charged for those steps. We'll also assess your project to see whether certain steps are actually needed.

How many revisions do I get?

It depends on the complexity and stage of your project. As a rule, and barring any quality issues on our end, revisions are made within the stage we're currently in — you can't, for example, change the storyboard once we're at the final cut (that would mean unbaking the cake to swap the recipe — a whole lot of rework!). That's exactly why we check in and confirm the result with you at every stage.
